About the PeopleMatter Foundation

The PeopleMatter Foundation is a 100% volunteer-based organization founded in 2010. It was born from a humble sense of caring, benevolence and good will – and a visceral desire to help when disaster strikes. Our mission is to partner with communities ravaged by disaster (natural or man-made) to help respond to immediate needs, restore basic services, rebuild the community and deliver education to ensure sustainable recovery.

We are each an individual. Yet we must remind ourselves that we are also elements in a delicate ecosystem and participating members of a civilized society. The PeopleMatter Foundation encourages individuals to strengthen their bond with the broader community and to contribute to universal well-being.
